Forest Practices News Dec 2024 is available now

Stories from the field and desk of Tasmania's forest practices industry, curated by the industry-regulator, the FPA.

This December 2024 edition of Forest Practices News (FPN) highlights some of the extraordinary work being done within the Tasmania’s forest industry. The research, which is advising today’s forest management and decision making, and skill in which decisions are implemented, are described in these articles. A few dedicated practitioners are also acknowledged in these pages as recipients of our recent Forest Practices Awards. 

FPN is made possible through article contributions from stakeholders of the FPA. They include people within the forest and tech industries, state government, and universities, as well as forestry contractors and landowners. We would love to hear what you enjoy most about FPN and how we can make it even better. On the first page, there is a QR code with a link to a short survey asking for your thoughts on FPN.
