Published:
Updated:

Climate change poses a considerable challenge to forest managers. The FPA pulled together key people working in this area for a one-day symposium in Hobart in August 2022. Download the comprehensive background report:

The symposium provides an overview of key issues likely to be faced in Tasmanian production forests under a changing climate, as well as outlining potential adaptation options. Topics covered by expert presenters include:

  • climate change projections
  • policy context
  • carbon accounting
  • fire
  • forest health
  • soil and water
  • weeds, pests, and diseases.
