New FPA and DPIPWE Agreed Procedures Report

27 Jun 2024

Threatened species in production forest are managed through prescriptions in forest practices plans.

These prescriptions may be achieved on a case-by-case basis in consultation with specialists, or by implementing standard management prescriptions delivered through planning tools jointly developed by the FPA and DPIPWE.

This report  (PDF 1.2 MB)details the roles that the FPA and DPIPWE play in managing threatened species through the Tasmanian forest practices system, as legislated in  s. 51 (3) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995.
